Pondering Proverbs 31:27

Proverbs 31:27 says: She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.

What does that mean to you? This verse makes me really think about how I spend my days. It's so easy to get caught up in the "Tyranny of the Urgent". The children need help with their schoolwork, the phone rings, the bills need to be paid, the clothes need to be washed, errands need to be run, meals need to be prepared, etc. We can find ourselves so caught up in the busyness of our day that we forget the real reason we are home if we are not careful. Are your days filled with honoring the Lord as you serve your families?
