Thanksgiving Craft Idea

Here's an idea to help decorate your home for Thanksgiving this week:

Get a tree branch from your yard. Cut out leaves in different colors. You'll want to make them big enough to be able to punch a hole in the end. Put the branch in a clay pot filled with sand or plaster of paris. You can paint the outside of the pot before filling it witht the sand or plaster of paris. Have each of your children write something they are thankful for on each leaf. Tie the leaves on the branch. This makes a special and beautiful decoration for your table on Thanksgiving day. It serves as a wonderful reminder of the blessings the Lord has given us.

Psalm 136:1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever.
